Hi everybody,
Could anybody recommend a place in Taipei to buy a pull up bar that fits in the doorway of an apartment (preferably something that doesn’t require screws, etc…)? I’m sure that others can relate; I’ve lost my gains at the gym and I’m bummed

Maybe try decathlon.
Careful with those things. I had one when I was much younger and about 200lbs lighter. The pressure from the bar fucked up my doorframe completely. Landlord was not happy!

200 pounds lighter? You must stand out in Taiwan.
A lot of internal doorframes in TW are of extremely flimsy construction. I eventually gave up and used the pull up bar in the nearby park and in parks along my running route. I’m not an exhibitionist, but I found them to be very stable and at the right height. In contrast, the pull-up bar at the local sports gym almost requires one to use a chair to get to it.
In Taipei of all places! Of all the cities I’ve lived in it’s the one with the biggest concentration of public pull-up bars!
