Omg an insult to English breakfast. The beans should not be in a pretentious little bowl.
Big bangers, looks bigger than your phone.
I get that feedback a lot.
Itās really cold here, like minus ten thousand. And itās Ā£8 million for a coffee. And Russians stand on the street corners buying houses on a whim. And all the people are on strike. Like all of them. Iāve had an Estonian write this post for me. And Santa isnāt coming. And the govt is full of lizards. And I still donāt have a letter that my nan posted me in 1987. And you might have to wait an hour to get seen for free at the hospital if you pop in on a whim cos your toe hurts. And thereās no eggs in the shops, literally no eggs.
Donāt come to England, any of you. Go to another country and whinge about that instead.
Taiwan is also really cold last few days! At least UK has heaters, most Taiwanese do not.
If youāre still in the Reading area, I recommend visiting Henley-on-Thames and Marlow, if you havenāt already. Lovely towns on the river, the former famous for the Henley Royal Regatta and generally being the home of rowing, lots of impressive houses and architecture in both places too.
Sonning is lovely too
Should be back in Reading for work related meeting end of next month, will try get time before or after my meeting, then back on the train. Good Brekkie or coffee places in the towns? I will have choose one town it seems with limited time, as work trip,

Yeah, both have plenty of independent cafƩs and such. Flip a coin!
For Marlow you have to change train at Maidenhead, Henley you change at Twyford.

Went today, was good!
There is also a great lunch at Market place in Reading. Little more upscale but excellent vegetable dishes and salads, as well as artisanal pizzas, etc.
yes the Weatherspoon chain, good prices
Do you know what the JD in JD Weatherspoons stands for?
Jefferson Davis!!!
Wetherspoons - Wikipedia
The name of the business originates from JD, a character in The Dukes of Hazzard ,
Confederate Song - I Wish I Was In Dixie Land (with lyrics) - YouTube
Surprised the woke jackasses arenāt going after the name.
I guess I do not know this show, is a English one, maybe not broadcast in Ireland when I was there?
Boss Hogg or JD Hogg is named after the President of the Confederacy
Jefferson Davis - Wikipedia
Thus, JD Weatherspoons is actually Jefferson Davis Weatherspoons.

I found: The name of the business originates from JD, a character in The Dukes of Hazzard , and Wetherspoon, the surname of one of Martinās teachers in New Zealand, who had told him that he thought he would never amount to much.
