For anyone who might want to change their vaccine reservation, this can be done by going into the system as if you are making a new reservation and inputting the your initial ID information. I’m not sure I would recommend this unless it’s really unavoidable because it could be possible to get locked out of this round of vaccinations! It luckily worked out for my wife and she got the date that made more sense than the first one she selected.

Maybe I have an older/newer format NHI card. Mine has both numbers on the front and only a phone number on the back.
If you have chosen which vaccine you are willing to receive before, and you are born before 1983, you can now use the NHI app or the 1922.gov.tw website to schedule an appointment even if you have not received an SMS notification.
